On Track for 2026: WG 29’s Progress on Revising ISO 9001

ISO/TC 176/SC 2/WG 29 held its 7th meeting remotely via Zoom on September 26 and 27, 2024, to continue addressing comments received on the Committee Draft of ISO 9001.

ISO/TC 176/SC 2/WG 29 held its 7th meeting remotely via Zoom on September 26 and 27, 2024, to continue addressing comments received on the Committee Draft of ISO 9001. Over these two days, 56 members participated, representing 31 national standards bodies and 5 liaison organizations.

The revised project timeline was presented, with the standard development track now extended to 36 months to accommodate a second Committee Draft stage. As a result, the publication of the revised ISO 9001 is planned for September 2026.
